James leads Manpep Ventures from its Nairobi headquarters and oversees the firm's global network of offices. James works directly with boards, owners and institutional investors on the decisions that shape a business for years: strategy, capital structure, major transactions and ownership succession.
Over a career spanning corporate finance and advisory, James has guided clients across manufacturing, logistics and financial services through growth, restructuring and change of ownership. James is known for plain-spoken advice, set out in writing, that a board can test and act on.
