Who we are

Manpep Ventures is the data controller for personal data collected through this website. We are registered in Republic of Kenya and our registered office is at Gallant Mall, Westlands, Parklands Road, Nairobi.

We have not appointed a separate Data Protection Officer. Data protection enquiries can be sent directly to info@manpepventures.com, and will be handled by our leadership team.

What we collect

When you submit an enquiry we collect your name, email address, the service area you select, and the content of your message. We do not collect special category data through this website, and you should not send confidential financial details through the enquiry form.

Why we use it, and our lawful basis

We use your details solely to respond to your enquiry and, where an engagement follows, to carry out that engagement. Our lawful basis is your consent in making the enquiry and, where an engagement is agreed, the performance of that contract.

How long we keep it

Where an enquiry does not lead to an engagement, we keep the details you submitted for up to 24 months from the date of your enquiry, then delete them. Where an enquiry becomes a client engagement, we keep records relating to that engagement for 7 years from the date it ends, in line with standard financial-advisory record-keeping practice, or longer where a specific legal or regulatory obligation requires it.

Your rights

Under the Data Protection Act 2019 you have the right to be informed, to access your data, to correct it, to request erasure, to object to processing, and to data portability. To exercise any of these, contact us at the address above. You may also lodge a complaint with the Office of the Data Protection Commissioner.

Sharing and transfers

We do not sell personal data, and we do not share it beyond what is needed to run this website and respond to your enquiry. We use Vercel to host this site and Resend to deliver enquiry emails; both process data as part of providing that service and may do so outside Kenya. We do not currently use any other processor — no analytics, advertising or tracking service is connected to this site.

Cookies

This site does not currently use analytics, advertising or any other non-essential cookie — nothing is set beyond what your browser needs to load the page. If that changes, this section will be updated and your consent will be asked for before any non-essential cookie is set, not after.
